David gained worldwide recognition for playing Ross Geller in the sitcom Friends, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 1995. He also starred in other television series, such as Band of Brothers and Web Therapy. Some of his notable films are John Carter, Nothing but the Truth and Hotel.
