Sonakshi Batra is an Indian film and television actress. She started her acting career as a kid when she first appeared in an Alpenliebe TVC. She has also done theatre workshops organised by Khilona Theatre and National School of Drama (TIE) and has acted in an NSD(TIE) production namely. Apart from being a theatre artist she is a senior diploma holder in Hindustani Classical Music, and has served a brief stint as a voice artist, lending her voice to a few serials of Doordarshan and National Geographic Channel. She garnered recognition from the movie 14 Phere. Sonakshi is currently a fellow of the Renaissance Theater Society, where she appeared in a play called Romie Julie and Machli Jal Ki Rani.
