Amruta Subhash is an Indian actress and singer who works in Marathi and Hindi films, television, and theatre. She is a graduate of the National School of Drama, New Delhi. She has received several awards, including a National Film Award, two Filmfare Awards, and a Filmfare OTT Award. Subhash played the part of ex-bar dancer Lily in Alankrita Shrivastava’s Netflix series Bombay Begums. Subhash is also a classically trained singer who has lent her voice to various Marathi films. As a playback singer, she has won accolades such as the Maharashtra Government State Award for the film Nital. She has appeared in the Netflix Original series Selection Day and opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Sacred Games. In 2014, she published a book in Marathi titled – Ek Ulat Ek Sulat. In 2017, Amruta won the first ‘Smita Patil Award’ along with the veteran actress Rekha.
