She is known for her roles as Necla Tekin in the TV series Yaprak Dökümü and as Feride in the TV series Çalıkuşu, both on based on novels by Reşat Nuri Güntekin. Evcen had her first cinematic debut with the movie Cennet alongside Engin Altan Duzyatan, on 11 April 2008, which was released and at the same year she was cast in a leading role in the movie Ask Tutulmasi alongside Tolgahan Sayisman and in film Sinyora Enrica ile Italyan Olmak alongside Ismail Hacioglu. In 2017, Fahriye ranked ninth on Buzznet’s list of the “World’s 30 Most Beautiful Women” in which the likes of Gigi Hadid, Emma Watson, Adriana Lima, Hillary Clinton and Angelina Jolie were also named.
