Since 2017, Gardner has been a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live beginning in season 43, when she debuted as a featured player alongside Luke Null and Chris Redd. Beginning with the show’s 45th season in 2019, Gardner and Redd were both promoted to repertory status. In the 2015, One of her first major voice acting roles was as Yasmin cartoon series Bratz, based on the popular doll franchise. She is noted for lending her voice to the character Cooch in Super Mansion, Yasmin in Bratz, and as an old woman in Mike Tyson Mysteries.
