In 2014, she was abused by an autorickshaw driver when she was on her way to the shoot of the TV serial ‘Savdhaan India’. Monaz got controversial after an auto rickshaw driver assaulted her on her way to the set of Savdhaan India. She reported that she came to a halt at a traffic signal on her way to the Filmcity filming. While waiting, she saw the driver glancing at him. She ignored him, but the motorist would not stop and began to pursue her. When she speeds up, the motorist hits her car and begins throwing when she is forced to stop. She secured her car and photographed and videotaped the motorist. Her automobile was destroyed, but she was bold enough to confront the perpetrator. She filed a complaint against him, and he was arrested.
